Medicinal Marijuana License Costs In California?

I am considering growing, cultivating, transporting, and selling medicinal marijuana to marijuana dispensaries. I don't want to go and read CA state and federal laws because it is alot of reading to do. I also don't want to talk to a lawyer (just yet anyways) so if you know or knows someone who knows about this, I would greatly appreciate it. Things I would like to know are: 1) How much does it cost for each license? 2) Does a criminal record (no felonies) affect me? 3) Are there any requirements I must meet? 4) Are there any other licenses I need besides the two I have mentioned? Any other knowledge that you can help me with is an added bonus. Thank you all for your assistance.
