My neighboring tooth hurt after a dental implant procedure, do that mean something went wrong?

I had a dental implant surgery three days ago, to insert graft bone etc. It gave me severe pain after dumbness go off. Over the next two days, the tooth next to the surgery site have continual painful/stress feeling. I wonder if something have went wrong with the procedure, for example, neighbor tooth nerve is over-traumatized that it needed a surgery (maybe root canal) as well?? Or it is just something normal? Should I seek for immediate assistance from my dentist?
